Together with his family, David embraces life in the great outdoors and has a particular passion for trail running. He’s completed several road marathons, 50ks, 50 milers, two sub 30 hour 100 mile finishes at the Leadville Trail 100 in Colorado, and the Bighorn Trail 100, part of the Bighorn Mountain and Scenic Trail Run in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Whenever the Sooter family isn’t learning or working, you’ll find them running through the mountains in the warmer months or skiing the steeps in winter at Taos Ski Valley.
Bucket list destination:
New Zealand. David has yet to make it that far south but would love to explore the mountains and coastline of this incredible island nation.
